Tidal’s culinary team is led by Chef Charlotte Guerrero, a leader both in the kitchen and on the floor, and is supported by a strong team of culinary leaders at our Mission Bay restaurant.
Born and raised in San Diego, Charlotte brings a deep connection to the region’s seasonal bounty and coastal spirit. As Chef de Cuisine at Tidal, she creates ingredient-driven dishes that reflect a commitment to sustainability, low-waste practices, and bold, honest flavors.
Charlotte’s culinary roots trace back to her grandmother Maria’s kitchen, where she first fell in love with food. That passion grew behind the line at a local golf course and carried her through key roles in some of San Diego’s standout kitchens — including Sous Chef at The Lion’s Share and Executive Sous Chef at Rare Society. Now an emerging voice in the city’s culinary scene, Charlotte honors her roots while pushing forward a thoughtful, modern approach to California cuisine.
