The Beards of paradise Support Give Kids The World Village
At Paradise Point, our staff is committed to changing lives. Several members of our team have come together as the Beards of Paradise to help raise money for Give Kids The World Village, a non-profit organization that fulfills dream vacations of critically ill children and their families. On Tuesday, October 1, 2019, we held The BIG Shave Off, in which these team members shaved their beards and started to grow a mustache during the month of October to raise money for this cause. This event will be filmed and shared on our social media. Don’t worry, we won’t ask you to shave, but are grateful for any donations made to Give Kids The World. Fun Fact: The purpose of shaving their beards is to raise awareness. As people notice their change in appearance, this becomes an opportunity to discuss this foundation and request sponsorships.
When a child is diagnosed with a critical illness, a family’s world turns upside down. Schedules become dominated by hospital visits and medical treatments. Free time slips away. But Give Kids The World Village gives some of that time back.
Visiting families stay in storybook villas, play in Orlando’s world-famous theme parks, enjoy delicious meals and celebrate nightly events at the Village. For one amazing week, families simply laugh, play, and spend time together – and it doesn’t cost them a thing.
That’s why our team is raising money to support Give Kids The World. With your help, the Village will remain a magical place for families to stay during their once-in-a-lifetime trip.
