Meet The Chef

Tidal’s culinary team is led by Chef Eduardo Zamora, a leader both in the kitchen and on the floor, and is supported by a strong team of culinary leaders at our Mission Bay restaurant.

Chef Eduardo was born in San Diego, California to a family with a long history of owning and operating restaurants in California and the Mexican region of Nayarit. His education in the kitchen began at a young age within the family business that for generations has trained chefs and cooks within their own restaurants. His main inspiration is his mother, who has been a Garde Manger Chef all his life, and from whom he has adopted his work ethic. Like San Diego, the region of Nayarit, Mexico, where Chef Zamora spent many summers honing his skills, is located on the Pacific Ocean, giving him extensive opportunities to work with and develop a love for seafood.
